Seed Potato Certification
Australia will host the United Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) specialised section for seed potatoes technical meeting in Melbourne April 1-4 2014.
The meeting will involve delegates from around the world including New Zealand, South Africa, Italy, United Kingdom, United States, Finland, Sweden and Switzerland. The main objective of the meeting is to discuss technical aspects of the UNECE certification scheme as an international standard. The UNECE scheme is a platform for international trade.
The meeting is being hosted by AuSPICA on behalf of the Australian Seed Potato Council. As part of the international meeting a grower evening will be held at Ballarat on the 2nd April 2014. This evening meeting will be opportunity to hear from certification schemes form around the world.
