A vision for next 5 years
Under the banner of the Horticulture Centre of Excellence, DEDJTR has collaborated with the Victorian Potato Industry to develop a strategic plan to take the industry forward over the next 5 years. Importantly, the plan identifies key areas of focus for the industry and government to secure sustainable growth of the potato industry, create regional jobs and employment and ensure the ongoing contribution of the potato industry to the Victorian economy.
The plan provides a framework to attract investment and foster collaboration between local and National industry bodies. The plans is a good reference as a snapshot of the industry as it stands today which will provide a sound basis to assess the industry performance in future years.
